Lucero Gomez AriasGraduate Research Assistant

Lucero Gomez Arias is a second-year Master of Public Policy student at the Sanford School of Public Policy. She was born and raised in Lima, Peru, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico, a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy from Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, and a Master’s degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico. She has professional experience in the public and private sectors in Peru, having worked at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, and in consulting as a project analyst conducting cost-benefit analyses and social and economic evaluations. At Sanford, she is developing analytical and quantitative skills for evidence-based policymaking and is pursuing certificates in International Development Policy and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Her research interests focus on food policy, health policy, and international development.
