Matt Peljovich is a senior studying public policy at Duke and an undergraduate research assistant at the World Food Policy Center. His past research has explored ways to reform federal budget processes, promote student voting in times of a pandemic, and measure how representative our elected officials are. He is interested in food policy because of its interdisciplinary nature—combining research into agriculture, economics, and social policy—and for its power to help those in the local community.
