Noah Gibson is a Joint Ph.D. Candidate in Sociology and Public Policy at Duke University. His dissertation focuses on how state- and community-level factors shape food insecurity and SNAP enrollment in the United States. He is also involved in projects that examine the relationship between spatial inequality, social capital, and food insecurity. At the World Food Policy Center, he contributes to ongoing initiatives, including studies on online grocery shopping among SNAP participants and research utilizing restricted Panel Study of Income Dynamics (PSID) data to investigate the relationship between racial segregation and food insecurity. Prior to attending Duke, Noah received his M.S. and B.S. in Economics from Ohio State University.
