Rural Child Hunger Faith Community Engagement Project

The World Food Policy Center at Duke University is working with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign to support research and build partnerships with faith communities in advance of the Rural Child Hunger Summit, March 31-April 1, 2020 in Cleveland, Ohio. Building upon WFPC’s Food & Faith focus, an inaugural convening and state of the field report in November 2018, WFPC partners will help identify and engage with faith communities working to combat rural hunger and its root causes. The project will include interviews with experts and practitioners, content development for the upcoming summit, and a state-of-the-field report. We are excited to develop and build upon new partnerships at this nexus to increase awareness about the important work of faith communities across the country.
