Could more frequent grocery shopping reduce uneaten food in our homes?

Purdue, Penn State and Duke University’s World Food Policy Center asked Americans if they would be willing to adopt a “just in time” shopping strategy to reduce uneaten food. This means making quick trips to the grocery store more frequently. We had 1,477 people respond to the survey. This infographic describes what we learned. Tradeoffs between grocery store shopping and waste behavior,” Agricultural Economics, 2022; 1-15.
