Graduate Research Assistant
Michael Bennett graduated from the University of Florida in 2017 with degrees in History and Political Science. After college, he joined AmeriCorps and spent a year serving with an environmental nonprofit in San Jose, California. After that, he returned to Florida to work on the state’s growing opioid crisis, helping create a prevention task force in Southwest Florida. Now at Duke University studying Public Policy, Michael is a member of the President's Advisory Committee on Institutional History and a board member of SHIFT NC. He is an avid college football fan and self-described movie buff.
