Steven Dallas, Ph.D.

2018 Research Fellow in Early Childhood Development and Nutrition

Steven Dallas is a research fellow in the area of Early Childhood Development and Nutrition. He worked on a campaign to reduce sugar-sweetened beverage consumption among preschoolers. Prior to joining the WFPC, Steven received his bachelor’s degree at Duke University, and then received a Ph.D. in Marketing from New York University’s Stern School of Business, where his research focused on food decision making and behavioral pricing. Steven’s research has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Marketing Research, the Journal of Consumer Psychology, the Journal of the Association for Consumer Research, and Appetite, and his ideas have been featured in popular press outlets such as the Washington Post, Huffington Post, STATNews, and Pacific Standard. Steven will be starting at Duke Law in the fall of 2018.
