Peter de Guzman is a second-year graduate student in the Master in Interdisciplinary Data Science program at Duke University. At Duke, Peter’s research focuses on human-AI interaction and the role of social media on youth political polarization. He previously spent six years at Tufts University’s Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning and Engagement, where he conducted research and led research-practice partnerships in the fields of youth civic engagement and political participation. At the World Food Policy Center, he contributes to an ongoing initiative to evaluate the impact of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) on student learning and behavioral outcomes. Prior to attending Duke, Peter received his B.A. in Chinese Language & Literature and International Relations at Tufts University.
