Annie Piscitelli is a second-year undergraduate student at Duke University studying Global Health and Public Policy. She works as a writing consultant at the Duke Thompson Writing Studio, where she helps students develop their writing and analytical skills. As an undergraduate research assistant at the World Food Policy Center, Annie is exploring how food waste is defined in academic literature and how these definitions have evolved over time. Her research interests lie at the intersection of policy, sustainability, and global food systems.
